Couples Sudoku
Numbers in cells separated by Tilde(~) must have the same parity, either both are even, or both are odd. Numbers in cells separated by Tilde with a slash have a different parity, one must be even and the other odd.
The Couples variation was created by Logic Wiz. Some cells on the board are separated by either Tilde(~), or Tilde with a slash.
Couples rules:
- Tilde(~): the digits on both sides of the Tilde must have the same parity – either both even or both odd. For example: (2 & 6), (5 & 9).
- Tilde with a slash: the digits on both sides must have a different parity – one is odd and the other is even. For instance: (4 & 7), (3 & 8), (3 & 4).
- Not all instances of Tilde and Tilde with a slash are given.
